Wow, I have not been very good with the blog...
So, we are heading back to Spain to Procreatec to transfer 2 of our 5 blast frosties. We asked the clinic and the rate of twins with FET is only 8% so we're going to take a chance. After all, with our odds, really how llikely would that be?
I started taking 2 mg estrace every 8 hours on Friday Mar 30th. It was supposed to be on CD2, but since I'd been spotting/bleeding for the past 2.5 weeks thanks to the birth control, we just went with the original schedule that assumed the 30th would be CD2!
I went to my doc here on Wednesday (April 4) morning - she had offered to do a pre-official ultrasound for me because when I saw her 10 days ago, there was what looked like a clot in my uterus, but she wanted to rule out any polyps. I've never had an issue with that before, so I was pretty irritated with the universe... I mean, seriously? But the Wednesday u/s was clear, my lining was measuring 6-7 mm, which Dr.W said it was right where she would expect it to be. Offical u/s is tomorrow morning, and we will get the go/no-go. Flights are booked for Tuesday so we are really really really hoping for go.
I have brief moments of panic, but overall am pretty calm, as disassociated as I can be, I suppose. Work is really busy so that probably helps. My diet has been attrocious and I've put on weight that I feel pretty disgusted with - I'm way way way up, instead of going down like I should have. No one to blame but me.
Fingers crossed tomorrow is GO!
